How Can I Help?

The Asbury Park Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the history of the City of Asbury Park, as well as its historical landmarks. The APHS is also dedicated to educating the general public in the history of the city and the importance of historic preservation. This is accomplished through the various events and programs sponsored by the APHS as well as through the publication of numerous books, pamphlets and articles by the society. However, the Asbury Park Historical Society can not do this alone. You can help.

There are several ways to aid the APHS in its goals of historic preservation and education. The Society is a volunteer organization and is always in needed of assistance in the planning and execution of its events and the implementation of its various programs. Volunteers are always needed to assist in these areas.

Yes I Would Like To Volunteer

Like any non-profit organization funding is always important. There are several ways you can help to contribute to the society, through various levels of Membership or by becoming a Benefactor. Your tax deductible contribution goes to supporting the APHS in its many endeavors, such as the restoration of the TenBroek Fountain, the publication of literature such as The Story of Asbury Park, or to handle general operating expenses including mailing, advertising and web site maintenance. Your financial support is deeply appreciated by the APHS.
